Our aim is to build on the pubs existing foundation, as a pillar of the
local Kelvedon Hatch community, make the most of its potential and give the place a very
well-earned refresh, and we welcome everyone to come and join us.
We are close to South Weald Country Park, the Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker & Nuclear
Races Wild Forest Obstacle & Activity Centre. Our restaurant is open daily and offers freshly
prepared, homemade, classic ‘pub grub’ throughout the week and a traditional roast dinner on
Sundays.
We are dog friendly, and welcome well-behaved dogs on leads in our bar area, while children are
welcome in the restaurant, and in the bar for food.
Both our bar and restaurant are fully accessible, with disabled toilets and baby changing facilities
available.
We have a lovely, large pub garden with a separate childrens play area, ideal for the summer months
with a large car park with ample parking for patrons.
Our restaurant is open 7 days a week and we welcome advance bookings and walk-ins.

Please note, due to our proximity to Bentley Crematorium, our restaurant is often booked out for
private events, which is why we currently only taking bookings 1 week in advance.
